活动简介
本次活动由中国国家质量监督检验检疫总局，美国消费品安全委员会，欧洲联盟欧洲委员会联合举办，本次活动将围绕“消费品安全，共同的目标”这一主题，由中国，美国以及欧盟三方的官员、技术专家和企业一起：
交换中美欧消费品安全和消费者保护方面的意见和看法；
交换消费品安全管理的成功经验；
帮助中国的生产企业了解美国，欧盟等主要市场的产品安全管理要求；
帮助美欧消费品安全管理者了解我国在产品安全管理方面的做法等；
建立中美欧共同合作机制。
活动将在北京、广州、上海三地分别安排针对服装、玩具、电子电器产品的外展培训会，培训会上将邀请中美欧专家就相关领域内的前沿问题和技术进展对企业进行培训和答疑，尤其是对于美国刚刚通过的《消费品安全法案修正案》的情况进行通报和解释，并对即将颁布的欧盟相关要求，特别是玩具方面的要求进行交流。
Activity Introduction
Co-hosted by General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People’s Republic of China (AQSIQ), the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and the European Commission, this activity is a joint training initiative by the three parties to promote consumer product safety compliance.Centered on the theme of Consumer Product Safety – A Common Objective, officials, technical experts and enterprises from China, the United States and the European Union will:
◆ Discuss recent developments in consumer product safety compliance and consumer protection
◆ Discuss better practice in the management of consumer product safety compliance
◆ Help China’s enterprises to better understand product safety requirements in key markets such as the United States and European Union
◆ Help U.S. and European consumer product regulators to understand current practice in product safety management in China
◆ Build China-U.S.-EU.cooperation
The joint outreach on clothes, toys, and electrical & electronic products will be held respectively in Beijing, Guangzhou and Shanghai. U.S., European and Chinese experts will be invited to provide training and to answer enterprises’ questions regarding current issues and technical progress. Issues addressed will include the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act of 2008 recently passed in the United States and forthcoming European requirements, especially with respect to toys.
